“You Bred Raptors” goes with a risky and unorthodox approach audibly in their EP titled, ‘Telemarketer Terrorists’. The combination of aged analogue equipment and the combined vocals inspired by spoken word music gives the EP a three-track maximally atmospheric experience which is ear-catching and interesting.
In the very first track, “The White Zone is for Loading and Unloading Only”, the existing blurring rhythm and all-over-the-track layered instrumentation grab the attention instantaneously. The nostalgic feeling created by the track seems to be both new and out of the old trends, with the aid of drum machines and analogue synthesizers. This certain track gives the audience a feeling of anxiety, in a good way, perfectly laying the ground for what to expect. So far, the title song, “Telemarketer Terrorists”, is the heart of the EP.
