CowboyZ is an explosive powerhouse of a band that originated in Ljubljana, Slovenia. On September 13, 2025, the band released a much-anticipated studio album that blends classic heavy metal tones and nuances with modern hip hop infused trap, rap, and pop style. As soon as you press play, you’re assaulted by all the band has to offer: roaring guitars, thunderous drums, bone-shaking bass, and emotional and guttural lyrics and vocals all wrapped into some of the most lyrically charged and musical complex songs you’ll find anywhere. CowboyZ’s latest album, ‘We Are Here As One’, is one that will jump-start your adrenaline but simultaneously break your heart.

“To Your Death” is a great album opener that wastes no time to show off all the aggression that this band has to offer. Heavy guitars and vocals attack you, the listener, the moment you hit play. The guitar work rips you to shreds, and the vocals are a massive adrenaline dump to the ears. “Another Man” starts off at a slower pace but not by much. This allows you to take in the lyrics, which deal with the themes of identity and self-betrayal, and keeps the intensity at a satisfying level. The lyrical theme hits home, all about never forgetting who you are and never giving up no matter how hard it gets. “We Are Here As One” is the bands all-encompassing emotional song. It’s all of the intensity of the previous songs on steroids. The title track showcases all the emotion and aggression this band has and exactly what they stand for as individuals and a band. Thundering drums meet screeching guitar riffs and ear-shattering vocals to create not just a great track, but the best track on the album.

“A Part of Me” and “The Ones” are both songs that deal with the topic of pain both emotionally and mentally, along with the trials of remaining confident despite those trials. “Time to Go” is a more somber yet uplifting message on the effects and beauty of moving on and leaving the past behind. “In Pain I Trust” is a song that rages at the source of all the pain this band has faced. It serves as both an emotional salve for the band and a call-to-arms for anyone who listens to it. The track “Leave Me Alone” is an ear-shattering and emotionally powerful way to end a record that shows off how far the band has come, as well as how far they refuse to be pushed back. ‘We Are Here As One’ is a masterpiece that does not feel overproduced nor watered down. It shows exactly what the band is all about and will make both old and new fans alike take notice and be entranced by this complex and beautiful record.
